Volumes jump at Hinduja Global Solutions counter

Adani Ports And Special Economic Zone, Karnataka Bank, Development Credit Bank and Vakrangee Softwares are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 14 October 2013.

Hinduja Global Solutions clocked volume of 8.33 lakh shares by 12:53 IST on BSE, a 14.13-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 59,000 shares. The stock fell 1.86% to Rs 401.35.

Adani Ports And Special Economic Zone notched up volume of 18.89 lakh shares, a 8.20-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.30 lakh shares. The stock rose 1.10% to Rs 151.90 after two bulk deals were executed on the counter on BSE today, 14 October 2013.

Two bulk deals aggregating to 14.54 lakh shares saw 0.07% equity capital of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone changing hands at 11:45 IST on BSE today, 14 October 2013. A bulk deal of 3.04 lakh shares was executed at Rs 152 per share. Another bulk deal of 11.50 lakh shares was also struck at Rs 152 per share.

Karnataka Bank saw volume of 34.31 lakh shares, a 7.25-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4.73 lakh shares. The stock surged 15.36% to Rs 107.40.

Development Credit Bank clocked volume of 11.54 lakh shares, a 6.59-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.75 lakh shares. The stock jumped 6.22% to Rs 52.10.

Vakrangee Softwares saw volume of 7.22 lakh shares, a 2.13-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.39 lakh shares. The stock fell 0.87% to Rs 68.45.
