Volumes jump at HT Media counter
Blue Dart Express, Power Grid Corporation of India, Elantas Beck India and Maharashtra Scooters are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 28 February 2014.
HT Media clocked volume of 32.58 lakh shares by 13:50 IST on BSE, a 84.51-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 39,000 shares. The stock surged 4.32% at Rs 74.85.
Blue Dart Express notched up volume of 27,000 shares, a 63.88-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 423 shares. The stock lost 1.06% at Rs 3,300.
Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) saw volume of 54.13 lakh shares, a 48.12-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.12 lakh shares. The stock lost 1.21% at Rs 94.15.
Elantas Beck India clocked volume of 1.35 lakh shares, a 27.72-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock spurted 9.26% at Rs 545.
Maharashtra Scooters saw volume of 1.10 lakh shares, a 19.08-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock jumped 9.45% to Rs 509.
