Volumes jump at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India counter

Ybrant Digital, Jain Irrigation Systems, HDFC and BF Utilities are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 14 March 2014.

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India clocked volume of 3.01 lakh shares by 13:37 IST on BSE, a 42.4-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock lost 1.64% at Rs 231.50.

Ybrant Digital notched up volume of 38.02 lakh shares, a 7.72-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4.92 lakh shares. The stock was locked at 5% upper circuit at Rs 19.72.

Jain Irrigation Systems saw volume of 17.88 lakh shares, a 7.35-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.43 lakh shares. The stock lost 0.17% at Rs 58.10.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) clocked volume of 6.69 lakh shares, a 3.58-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.87 lakh shares. The stock lost 1.26% at Rs 855.30.

BF Utilities saw volume of 1.16 lakh shares, a 2.04-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 57,000 shares. The stock tumbled 8.93% at Rs 469.30.
