Volumes jump at Redington India counter

Dhanuka Agritech, PVR, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail and Maruti Suzuki India are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 6 June 2016.

Redington India clocked volume of 2.78 crore shares by 14:02 IST on BSE, a 221.81 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.25 lakh shares. The stock dropped 7.01% at Rs 103.40. A huge bulk deal of 2.56 crore shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 107 per share at 10:51 IST on BSE today, 6 June 2016.

Dhanuka Agritech notched up volume of 1.28 lakh shares, a 27.46-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock gained 1.75% at Rs 670.

PVR saw volume of 2.01 lakh shares, a 17.99-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock fell 1.07% at Rs 885.

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail clocked volume of 10.15 lakh shares, a 9.82-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.03 lakh shares. The stock rose 4.07% at Rs 135.60.

Maruti Suzuki India saw volume of 5.02 lakh shares, a 9.82-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 51,000 shares. The stock fell 1.59% at Rs 4,153.05.
