Wipro announced before trading hours today, 29 July 2015, that it has been selected by DSM, a global, science based company active in health, nutrition and materials, as its strategic IT partner to provide Workplace Services. Wipro will bring next generation workplace technology features such as predictive analytics, automation, self-help, self-heal, multi-channel support and user experience management to DSM through this multi-year strategic partnership. This technology deployment will help DSM optimize costs, while providing users (i.e. DSM's employees) with an Internet-centric and sustainable workplace, with smart systems which will enable a seamless user experience. The smart systems include predictive monitoring for faster service restoration, automation and preventive self-heal to minimize service disruptions, and round-the-clock support to enable stable operations. The green IT features of the project will improve the sustainability of this initiative.

FM radio operators wil be in focus. Ministry of Information & Broadcasting said yesterday, 28 July 2015, e-auction of the First Batch of Private FM Radio Phase III re-commenced yesterday, 28th July 2015 at and during the day, four rounds of bidding took place. Till now, 8 rounds of bidding are over. The first batch auction for135 FM Channels in 69 existing cities of Phase II began on 27th July 2015. At the close of second day of bidding, 79 channels in 55 cities became provisionally winning channels with cumulative provisional winning price of around Rs 479 crore against their aggregate reserve price of about Rs 377 crore. The auction resumed with Auction Activity Requirement set at 80%. bidding will re-commence today, 29th July, 2015.
