Zee Media Corporation standalone net profit rises 9.55% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 23.29% to Rs 117.27 crore

Net profit of Zee Media Corporation rose 9.55% to Rs 16.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 14.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 23.29% to Rs 117.27 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 95.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 72.47% to Rs 38.15 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 22.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 1.68% to Rs 390.07 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 383.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
