11 killed in Afghanistan bus accident

At least 11 persons were killed when a mini-bus fell into a river in Afghanistan's Badakhshan province on Saturday.

"At least 12 persons were travelling in a mini-bus in Baharak district when it suddenly plunged into a river," Xinhua news agency quoted a government official as saying.

Only one person was rescued, the official said.
