Pakistani security forces on Monday claimed to have killed at least 12 suspected militants in Balochistan.
The militants in Kohli district's Nasau area were killed in an exchange of fire during a security forces' operation in the area on Monday and a large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from their possession, spokesman Frontier Corps Khan Wasey said, Dawn reported.
The militants, including two key commanders, were involved in attacks on security forces and vital national installations in the area, he added.
Security forces have intensified action in Balochistan after the announcement of the National Action Plan in December 2014 to combat terrorism in the country.
