At least 12 people have tested positive for swine flu in Goa so far, of whom one has died, health authorities said on Thursday.
The directorate of health services said in a statement issued here, citing the state government's health agency, that at least 67 samples were tested since last month.
It said that reports related to 10 more cases were awaited.
Health Minister Francis D'Souza told IANS on Thursday that the situation was under control.
"Every patient is being tracked even after the treatment. No chance is being taken. We are also well stocked as far as swine-flu related medicines are concerned," he said.
