At least 14 people were killed and 12 injured Sunday when a passenger boat capsized in Indonesia.
The accident occurred in Maluku province due to high waves caused by typhoon Kalmaegi which hit the boat, Xinhua reported.
According to officials, nine people were rescued while 12 remain missing.
Typhoon Kalmaegi is expected to hit the South China Sea Monday.
