17 killed in Syrian violence
At least 17 people, including a judge and a military officer, were killed and 30 wounded Wednesday when rebels fired homemade rockets at two districts of Syria's Aleppo city, the state media said.
The rockets struck the city's Meridian and al-Furqan residential areas, Xinhua reported citing SANA news agency.
The state TV released footage of the attacked areas, showing scenes of destruction and bloodshed.
