19 year old gang-raped, three arrested

A 19-year-old woman was allegedly raped by four men, of which three have been arrested, police officials said Wednesday.

One of the accused was known to the victim and had called her at an isolated place in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj area Tuesday evening.

The woman was raped in turns by the accused she knew and his friends, who threatened her of dire consequences if she told anyone about the incident.

The victim called the police and informed them about the assault.

The police said three men were arrested late Tuesday from the same area, while one of them was on the run.
