Two youths in Jammu and Kashmir were arrested on Monday after they snatched two AK-47 rifles from security guards at a shrine in Rajouri district, police said.
After Sunday's incident, an alert was sounded and check posts were set up in the area.
Early on Monday, the youths fired shots at security personnel at a checkpost using the AK-47 assault rifles, leading to their arrest. No injury was reported, a police officer said.
The arrested youths have been identified as Mukhtar Ahmed and Aijaz Ahmed Parray of Shopian district.
