At least 20 people were killed and 28 others injured Thursday when a passenger bus toppled over in Kayseri province in central Turkey.
The driver of the bus, coming from Istanbul to the eastern province of Mus, lost control due to heavy fog and slippery road at Pinarbasi town of Kayseri early Thursday morning, Xinhua reported citing the private NTV news channel.
The bus hit the mid-road barrier and toppled over into the opposite lane, leaving 20 passengers dead and 28 others injured, said the report.
The injured were taken to various hospitals in Kayseri as well as Pinarbasi State Hospital for treatment, the report added.
