21 European films to be screened in Kolkata

Film buffs are in for a treat next month courtesy a festival that brings to the city a bouquet of 21 films from as many European countries.

At the 20th European Union Film Festival (EUFF) that begins in Kolkata on June 2, some of the latest and award-winning ventures from the EU member states will be screened.

Organised by the Delegation of the European Union and embassies of member states, the festival is being held in Kolkata in partnership with Cine Central till June 9 at Nandan.

"Go, Eddy!" (Belgium), "The Foreigner" (Bulgaria), aceVis-A-Vis" (Croatia) are some of the movies that will be shown, Aorganisers said on Saturday.
