314 kg ganja seized in Bengal, 2 arrested
The Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday seized 314 kg of ganja (marijuana) from a pick-up truck here and arrested two persons in connection with the case, an NCB official said.
"A total of 314 kg of ganja, worth approximately Rs 35 lakh, was seized from a pick-up truck from South Kolkata's Taratala Road on Tuesday morning," the NCB official said.
"Two persons, named Hariprasad Majumdar and Milan Ghosh, have been arrested from the truck for illegally transporting the narcotic substance," he added.
