Coast guards on Tuesday rescued 350 migrants off Libya's Garbulli coast, the media reported.

Coast guards found a boat some 60 km east of the capital Tripoli carrying the migrants, said a Libyan navy spokesman.

Last week, European ships rescued more than 4,500 migrants off the Libyan coast, Xinhua news agency reported.

According to the International Organisation for Migration, more than 350,000 migrants have managed to cross the Mediterranean to Europe this year, many of whom departed from Libya.
