At least 40 African countries are expected to take part in an India-Africa business conclave March 9-11 that will focus on two-way trade and investment.
The partner country at the 10th annual CII-EXIM Bank Conclave on India Africa project partnership is Lesotho. The Republic of Congo is the focus country at the three-day conclave.
The purpose of the forum is to increase outreach of information on Indian enterprise in the identified sectors in Africa. It will also focus on exploring possibilities of Indian participation in long term projects, initiation of programmes related to capacity building, including resource mobilisation.
In the past nine editions of this conclave, 1,985 projects worth $172.25 billion have been discussed. The CII has also tried to promote 'Brand India' among African decision-makers and business leaders.
