5.6-magnitude quake hits Afghanistan

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted South of Jarm, Afghanistan at 08.05 p.m. on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 242.94 km, was initially determined to be at 36.6093 degrees north latitude and 70.886 degrees east longitude.
