At least seven people were killed and many others wounded Tuesday when an explosives-laden vehicle exploded near a rebel-held Syrian-Turkish border, activists and al-Mayadeen TV reported.
The car blew up at a garage near the Bab al-Salam border crossing in the rebel-held northern town of Azaz in Aleppo province, Xinhua quoted the report as saying.
In a separate incident, a Syrian war jet was shot down by the Islamic State terror group over the al-Raqqa province in northern Syria Tuesday, activists said, adding that eight people were killed when the war plane crashed into a residential area.
