At least seven men and a woman were arrested when the Australian Police raided a unit here, it announced on Wednesday.
The police recovered methamphetamine valuing $246.29 million, Xinhua news agency reported.
The men were arrested on Monday at the unit in the Sydney suburb of Smithfield and faced court on Tuesday.
The woman was arrested late Tuesday and will face court on Wednesday.
The arrests were the part of a joint investigation between the police and Australian Border Force, who tracked the shipment from the US.
The drugs were concealed in 396 bottles marked as protein powder, with a total weight of 540 kgs.
