A delectable ensemble of Mughlai dishes was on the lunch menu for visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang at the Hyderabad House here Monday.
The lunch was hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the visiting dignitary after the signing of agreements and their media statements.
On the menu was tamatar aur dhaniya ka shorba (tomato and coriander soup), and for starters, there was motia uttappam and subz gilavat kebab for vegetarians while non-vegetarians got to relish grilled fish and ghosht gilavat kebab.
On the main course were kadai prawn curry and murg dum pukht for meat eaters, and kadai paneer, Nizami handi, and khiley phool for the vegetarians. Steamed rice was served as accompaniment.
For dessert, the guests got to savour kesar rasmalai and apple pie. Fresh fruits were also laid on the table.
Among the guests were Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, Defence Minister A.K. Antony and Commerce Minister Anand Sharma.
Before savouring the delicacies, Li held delegation level talks with Manmohan Singh following which both sides inked eight agreements.
Li attended a private dinner hosted by Manmohan Singh at his official residence Sunday night.
