Aadhitya packs off Jaideep

S.M. Aadhitya of Tamil Nadu knocked out the seventh seed from Bahrain Rahul Jaideep 6-0, 6-1 to author the only upset result of the day in the Karle Infra ATF Under-14 Series Asian Ranking junior tennis tournament which began here Monday.

The top seed Siddhant Jagdish Banthia of Maharashtra and fourth seed Megh Patel posted easy wins to move into the second round.

In the girls section, top seed Tanvi Bhat Hattangadi of Karnataka drubbed Mircia Jaiswal 6-0, 6-0 and progressed to the second round.
