The AAP Thursday announced the setting up of a women's wing in Delhi and appointed Shalimar Bagh legislator Bandana Kumari as its chief.
Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal made the announcement at the Ramlila Maidan in Sundar Nagari of east Delhi.
A statement from the party said the AAP will also set up women's units in all districts of Delhi and thereafter follow with committees in all the 70 assembly constituencies.
A helpline number will also be soon made public to help women in directly contacting the party, the statement added.
