AAP candidate Ramchandra on Wednesday filed his nomination papers for the bypoll to Bawana assembly seat in west Delhi.
Accompanied by Aam Aadmi Party's Delhi convenor Gopal Rai and other leader of the party including Sanjay Singh, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Ajesh Yadav and Guggan Singh Ranga -- a former BJP MLA who joined AAP on July 30 -- Ramchandra filed his nomination at the DC office in Alipur.
As per the schedule announced by the Election Commission, the last date for filing nomination papers is August 5 and polling will take place on August 23. Counting will be held on August 28.
