Abu Dhabi, July 12 (IANS/WAM) The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) has completed the performance evaluation process for 12,000 educators working in schools in the emirate.
The evaluation included 263 principals, 321 vice principals, 270 faculty heads, 9,738 teachers and 1,185 support staff.
The evaluation process aims to improve the educational process, develop public schools and enhance educational capabilities to reach excellence in leading and managing skills.
Mohammad Salem Al-Dhaheri, ADEC's executive director of school operations, said the evaluation process was based on international practices to help identify the staff's strengths and weaknesses, and to take necessary action to promote professional performance.
