Adani Group will invest Rs 9,000 crore in projects across different sectors in Andhra Pradesh, it announced on Saturday.
Gautam Adani, Chairman, Adani Group, made the announcement at the inaugural session of "CII Partnership Summit" in this coastal city.
He said the investment would be made in the state over the next five years.
The group signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Andhra Pradesh government on the first day of the three-day event.
He said the Adani Group would develop a greenfield seaport at Bhavanapadu in Srikakulam district.
Adani also announced setting up of a 1,000MW renewable energy project and battery storage facility in the state.
