An supporter of the Adani power plant in Jharkhand's Godda district was beaten up in his home by some unidentified people on Friday, police said.
According to police, the assailants entered the house of Ranjan Mandal in Basantpur village of Godda and beat him up. Mandal had led a procession of some villagers favouring the plant.
No arrests have been made so far, police said.
Around 900 acres has been acquired for the 1,600 MW power plant, which has earned both support and opposition.
Jharkhand Vikas Morcha-Prajantarik legislator Pradeep Yadav has on been a sit-in for four days day against the plant, while some villagers opposing the project had taken out a procession on Thursday.
