Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday greeted NDA candidate M Venkaiah Naidu on being elected the next Vice President of India.
He added that Naidu's elevation to the significant post was a matter of great honor for all sections of the society, specially the farmers.
In a congratulatory message issued from his office, the Chief Minister credited the positive approach of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah and the BJP parliamentary board because of which the country "has got a Vice President like Naidu, who has always discharged his duties to the best of his abilities".
Adityanath also said that Naidu has had a long and illustrious public life and he comes to the new office with very rich experience.
