The ruling AIADMK party in Tamil Nadu Thursday called a meeting of its general council here Dec 19.
According to a statement from party general secretary J. Jayalalithaa, the general council meeting will be presided over by party presidium chairman E. Madhusudanan.
The statement, however, makes no mention of the agenda of the meeting.
Incidentally, arch rival DMK has called a meeting of its general council Dec 15 here, to discuss various issues including next year's Lok Sabha elections.
