Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu O. Panneerselvam on Saturday said talks for the merger of his AIADMK faction with that led by Chief Minister K. Palaniswami are progressing fine.
Speaking to reporters, Panneerselvam said in a couple of days a good decision will be taken and "there are no internal differences".
On Friday, the much-expected merger of the two AIADMK factions did not fructify.
Informed sources said there were serious differences within the Panneerselvam camp over the modalities of merger, which could not be sorted out during the over four-hour deliberation held at the former Chief Minister's house -- indicating serious differences.
