National carrier Air India will start direct flights from Mumbai to Frankfurt in Germany from October 16.
"Air India is set to spread its wings further in the US and European skies from the coming winters. It will launch its much-awaited direct flights on the Mumbai-Frankfurt route from October 16," the airline said in a statement on Wednesday.
