Actress Akangsha Rawat, known for featuring in shows like "Solhah Singaarr" and "Palampur Express", says she shares an emotional and special bond with the underprivileged.
"I have been fortunate to get the opportunity to help people living on the streets of Mumbai. It's a cause very close to my heart. In my own small way, I do whatever I can. I sometimes do it personally and sometimes volunteer for NGOs," Akangsha said in a statement.
"We help people by providing basic necessities and medical care when needed. Now I share a special bond with them. They are special part of my life and the bond with them is very pure and emotional," she added.
Doing all this, "adds meaning" to her life.
