Akashdeep Saigal approached for 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' (TV Snippets)

Keeping in mind his negative portrayals in shows like "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and "Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki", actor Akashdeep Saigal has been approached for a special track in popular soap opera "Ye Hai Mohabbatein".

According to a source from the production house, the actor is in talks with the makers to create differences in the life of lead pair Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman (Karan Patel).

"There is a special track coming in, and we have approached Akashdeep for it. It will be only for two to three weeks, but it will be a very strong role as the negative actor is supposed to get some disturbance between the protagonists," the source said.

"Ye Hai Mohabbatein" is aired on Star Plus.

Eisha Singh will miss hometown's Janmashtami celebrations

Actress Eisha Singh, who is currently seen as Dhaani in TV show "Ishq Ka Rang Safed", will not be able to travel to her hometown Bhopal for Janmashtami as she will be busy shooting on the festival day.

Eisha is quite religious by nature, and she has fond memories of how Janmashtami is celebrated with fervour at her hometown. She has attended it every year. However, she will not be able to go home this year because of her shooting commitments in Mumbai.

"My family is a staunch believer of Lord Krishna and we celebrate Janmashtami on a grand scale at my place in Bhopal. Every year we organise a puja and invite all our close family and friends," Eisha said in a statement.

"My mother runs a play school. I distribute sweets and celebrate with those children as well. For the first time, I will be away from my family during this occasion. Each year I look forward to this festival with much anticipation and this year I really miss being a part of the celebrations," she added.

"Ishq Ka Rang Safed", which is aired on Colors, portrays the story of a young widow, Dhaani and a boy Viplav (Mishal Raheja) who falls in love with her and goes against the orthodox views of society to marry her.

Crying comes naturally to me: Ishant Bhanushali

Crying scenes come easy to child actor Ishant Bhanushali, who is currently seen playing the title role in mythological TV show "Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman"! He manages to do them naturally without using glycerine or any other substance.

"Since the day I started acting, crying is something that comes naturally to me. I don't use anything for making myself cry onscreen. In fact, whenever there is an emotional sequence, my eyes well up eventually," Ishant, 9, said in a statement.

"Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman", which is aired on Sony Entertainment Television, is based on the life of Lord Hanuman as told from the viewpoint of Lord Krishna and Devi Rukmini.

Ishant plays the role of child Hanuman. Actor Nirbhay Wadhwa will take on the role from Ishant later onwards.

Ronit Roy shoots with dabbawalas

Actor Ronit Roy, who is seen as the host of reality game show "Deal Or No Deal" shot with the famous Mumbai's dabbawalas for a new episode. He was excited to have them on the show and even danced with them.

"The episode was very exciting. The dabbawalas came playing dhol-nagada. The episode was a unique experience. I learnt some amazing things like out of six lakh deliveries in a day, there would be only one error. And that Prince Charles who wanted to meet them when he had come to India, had to schedule the time according to the dabbawalas," Ronit said in a statement.

The dabbawalas came on the show to win money for the children of a person, who died sometime back.

"They gifted me a dabba at the end of the episode and I feel proud that after Prince Charles, they gave a dabba to me," Ronit added.

The episode featuring the dabbawalas will be aired on Sunday on &TV.
