Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will preside over an investors' conclave to be organised by the state government in Mumbai on Thursday in its bid to attract investment and create job opportunities in the state.
Around 200 investors including business captains, industry magnates and heads of multi-national companies would take part in the event at Hotel Trident, sources said.
State government departments have prepared films, presentations and brochures to showcase the development taking place in Uttar Pradesh.
"The objective of the conclave is to promote the state and create awareness among prospective investors about the rapidly improving business environment and infrastructure development in UP," an official said.
Yadav would also launch a single window system to facilitate film production in Uttar Pradesh.
