Singer Akon has been hit with an over $36,000 lawsuit for not paying dues to a contractor after renovations at his Georgia mansion.

According to tmz.com, the 41-year-old owes $36,765 to Durable Steel Structures for designing 'a glass floor that makes it seem like walking about a coral reef.'.

The elaborate designs needed LED lights to project the reef images below the glass.

At the time of installation, Akon's mother couldn't make a decision about the lighting and now the company is refusing to finish the job until getting payment.

The "Smack that" hitmaker was earlier sued in 2012 for over $50,000 by a different firm for work at the same residence.
