The story of upcoming Tamil drama "Alamaram" will revolve around a Banyan tree, says its director S.N. Duraising, adding that the music will reflect the mood and intensity of the movie.
"A Banyan tree plays a very significant role in the growth of every individual. Banyan tree has witnessed many interesting episodes of stories that are much larger than the branches and deeper than the roots of the tree.
"My film depicts one such episode in a lively manner," the director said in a statement.
Shot predominantly in Madurai and Theni, "Alamaram" features Hemanth Kumar and Avantika Mohan in the lead roles.
Peacock Productions has produced the film, which is planning to release it soon.
