Actor Allu Arjun, who is currently riding high on the success of "Race Gurram", has been roped in to play a cameo in upcoming Telugu period-drama "Rudhramadevi" about queen Rani Rudhramadevi of Kakatiya dynasty.
"Stylish star Allu Arjun plays a cameo in 'Rudhramadevi'," read a post on the film's official Twitter handle Saturday.
Directed by Gunasekhar, actress Anushka Shetty is essaying the role of Rudhramadevi in the film, which is slated to release in 2015.
The film, which is also produced by Gunasekhar, features an ensemble cast of Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Baba Sehegal, Aditya Menon, Nithya Menen, Aditi Chengappa, Catherine Tresa and Hamsa Nandini in important roles.
