American singer-songwriter Angie Miller, who is in the eastern metropolis for three gigs, is excited to perform here. The finalist on the 12th edition hit reality show "American Idol" distinctly remembers her maiden trip to Kolkata with her family when she was 12.
Miller has been posting photographs on social media ever since her arrival here on September 2, and a few days before departure she even uploaded a black-and-white one of her family trip to the city.
"I was 12 the first time I went to Kolkata, India with my family - I can't wait to go back there in 3 days," Miller tweeted on Aug 29.
A year after her stint at "American Idol" in 2013, the 21-year-old Boston native made waves with her debut EP "Weathered", which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.
