Andhra Pradesh government will soon launch an online grievance system as part of its flagship programme 'Smart Andhra Pradesh'.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch Mee Kosam, an online grievance monitoring system, before Jan 15.

Through this, people can check the status of their grievances/representations by entering their Aadhar number or the grievance number.

The decision was taken at a review meeting Naidu had with officials of information technology department, said an official statement.

The chief minister suggested setting up an e-Governance society to monitor and track the progress of delivery of citizen services online.

He has also asked the IT department to design a plan to bring in country's first "Right to good governance Act".

He directed the department to disburse 10,000 tablets to village-level officers immediately. They will collect data on public welfare schemes and key indicators and upload it online.

The state's sunrise start-ups programme will begin by March. He was informed by advisor to the government (IT) J. Satyanarayana that incubation centres in Kakinada and Tirupati are ready to begin operations.

Naidu suggested to officials to pursue setting up of incubation centres in universities and colleges.

The government will hold digital literacy camps in Anantapur, Chittoor, Guntur, West Godavari and Srikakulam districts. Tech experts will train officials in these camps.

Naidu will lay foundation for Signature Tower at Madhurawada in Visakhapatnam by March. It will be a symbol of resurgence of IT in Andhra Pradesh.

Stating that the central government has sought clarification on certain issues related to Visakhapatnam Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) project, the chief minister asked the IT advisor to clear centre's doubts and ensure that the project gets necessary approvals immediately.
