Anil Kapoor compares Ranveer Singh to Russell Crowe (Movie Snippets)

After watching "Bajirao Mastani", actor Anil Kapoor was compelled to compare young and dashing actor Ranveer Singh to Hollywood star Russell Crowe's character from the 2000 historical drama film "Gladiator".

"India's answer to @russellcrowe from 'Gladiator' @RanveerOfficial," Anil tweeted on Tuesday.

Ranveer, who has shared screen space with the "Welcome" actor in Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do", thanked the senior actor.

"Thanks AK! Was hoping I could make you proud. Great seeing you last night... Congrats on winning the award for DDD!," the 30-year-old tweeted.

Anil on Monday won the Stardust Award for Best Supporting Actor - Male for "Dil Dhadakne Do", in which he played father to Ranveer and Priyanka Chopra.

'Nothing' inspires Sushant Singh Rajput

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who will next be seen in the upcoming film "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story", says "nothing" inspires him in life.

Sushant was having a chat session with his fans on Twitter, when a user asked him: "Who or what inspires you?"

The actor, who was last seen onscreen in Aamir Khan starrer "PK", replied: "Nothing... Everything I do is merely because they are convenient to me. There is no bigger purpose."

Sushant, who impressed film audiences with "Kai Po Che" and "Shuddh Desi Romance", will be seen essaying the role of India's World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story", while veteran actor Anupam Kher will be seen playing Dhoni's father Pan singh.

The movie, which is directed by Neeraj Pandey, has been shot extensively in Ranchi.

"M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story" is slated to release next year.

Who can get Shahid on the ramp?

Actor Shahid Kapoor says it's only his designer friend Kunal Rawal who can get him to walk the fashion runway.

"Kunal is the only one who manages to get me on the ramp," Shahid said after ha was the showstopper for Rawal at a grand show here.

Rawal, who had also designed Shahid's wedding ensembles, showcased as many as 84 pieces of his collection.
