It was a clear and humid Monday in the capital as the maximum temperature settled at 33.8 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the season. The Met office has forecast similar weather Tuesday.
"The muggy weather would continue tomorrow (Tuesday) as well and the skies will remain clear," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperature will hover around 35 and 25 degrees Celsius
Monday's minimum temperature was recorded at 24.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The maximum humidity was recorded at 81 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.9 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
