Bharti Airtel on Tuesday announced the sale of "Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular)", starting May 11, a company statement said.
According to industry sources, Reliance Jio is also planning to bring Apple watch Series 3 at its stores with pre-orders starting May 4.
To help Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) customers get started Jio will also offer a special introductory cellular trial.
To activate cellular service with Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), customers first need to update iPhone to iOS 11.3 and watchOS 4.3, then tap "Settings" on iPhone > General > About and follow the prompt to update to the latest carrier settings.
The iPhone-maker launched its third-generation "Apple Watch" in September 2017 in India, priced at Rs 29,900 in gold, silver and space grey aluminium variants.
The smart watch comes with intelligent fitness-coaching features, water resistance and a full LTE cellular radio that switches seamlessly to cellular when away from the iPhone.
