Arjun's 'Ice Age' surprise on 'Half Girlfriend' set (Movie Snippets)

On his 31st birthday, actor Arjun Kapoor got a surprise visit here from Sid and Scrat, who feature in the 3D computer-animated family adventure film "Ice Age: Collision Course".

People dressed as the two characters dropped by to surprise Arjun on the sets of upcoming Bollywood film "Half Girlfriend" here on June 26, read a statement.

The "Ki & Ka" star took them around the sets where they got their dose of Bollywood.

Arjun has been roped in to lend his voice for the Hindi version of "Ice Age: Collision Course". He will give the voiceover for Buck, one of the leading characters of the "Ice Age" franchise.

The film is releasing in India on July 22.

Vivek Oberoi to produce, act in no smoking commercial

Actor Vivek Oberoi, who has a longstanding equation with the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) and has pioneered several no tobacco campaigns, now hopes to reach out to the youth with a commercial that will encourage people to quit smoking.

"I cannot stress enough on the importance of keeping away from tobacco and smoking as the damage it causes in the long run is irreversible. I have been working with the CPAA for several years now as well and I'm taking the thought and no-tobacco campaign forward with this," Vivek said in a statement.

Sources share that Vivek will be producing and acting in a commercial on no smoking which will release across various social media platforms.

Shahid upset with less vegetarian options on flights

Actor Shahid Kapoor says he is "very disappointed" with a vegetarian not getting many options on flight menus.

Shahid, who was flying back to India from Madrid, Spain, after attending the 17th edition of of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), shared his disappointment over Twitter.

"Tired of vegetarians never having options on flights. Really something wrong fundamentally with it. Emirates, very disappointed," he wrote.

On the work front, Shahid was recently seen on-screen in Abhishek Chaubey's controversial film "Udta Punjab". He will next be seen in the upcoming film "Rangoon".
