The Election Commission on Friday said that assembly by-elections to Mungawali in Ashoknagar district and Kolaras in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh will be held on February 24.
The Commission said that paper trail machines will be used with EVMs. Counting of votes will be held on February 28.
According to the Chief Election Officer, notification for the elections will be released on January 30. The last date for filing of nominations is February 6 and scrutiny will take place on February 7, while February 9 will be the last date for withdrawal of nominations.
