An ATM machine with Rs 7 lakh cash in it was stolen in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand on Thursday, police said.
The police said the machine, stolen at Sijua Naya Mode in Dhanbad, belonged to private ATM service provider Tata Indicash.
The police said adequate measures were not followed for safety of the ATM machine.
An operation has been launched to trace those responsible for the crime.
