Debutante director Nitya Mehra's upcoming romantic drama "Baar Baar Dekho", which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif, is set to release on September 9.
The film is being co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Karan Johar.
Sidharth confirmed the news by tweeting: "Hey guys #BaarBaarDekho releases on 9th of Sep 2016 !!@nitya_mehra #KatrinaKaif @ritesh_sid @karanjohar @FarOutAkhtar."
Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, who is co-producing with Karan for the first time, tweeted: "Our first Co-Prod with @karanjohar #BaarBaarDekho releases on 09/09/2016 @FarOutAkhtar @S1dharthM @nitya_mehra @DharmaMovies @excelmovies.
Mehra used to be an assistant director to actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar for "Lakshya" and "Don".
