The Delhi High Court Friday granted anticipatory bail to a pub manager and a bouncer in a brawl in which Parth Wadia, grandson of liquor baron Kishanlal Wadia, was also involved.
Justice S.K. Misra granted the anticipatory bail to Sukhvinder Singh, pub manager at the DLF Promenade mall here and Deepal Uppal, a bouncer in the pub.
The court asked Sukhvinder Singh and Uppal to join the investigation and ordered them to furnish a personal bond of Rs.50,000 and surety bond of the same amount.
Justice Misra told both of them to not leave the country without the court's permission.
"Keeping in mind the fact that the matter has been settled by both the parties, the petitioner is entitled to the anticipatory bail," the court said.
The court took into account that all the people arrested in the case are out on bail. The court on Aug 4 granted anticipatory bail to Parth Wadia.
Parth Wadia is accused of trying to force his way into the pub with his friends and security personnel after assaulting its staff.
On June 27, various men, including a relative of a politician, accompanied by armed bodyguards turned violent when bouncers denied them entry at night into pub Keya at DLF Promenade Mall, police said.
Police registered two cases under charges of attempt to murder and the Arms Act - one against the bouncers and the other against the alleged mischief-makers.
Police said one of the PSOs of Parth Wadia had brandished a revolver and threatened to kill the bouncers and staff of the club.
One of the security men had also allegedly assaulted bouncer, Deepak Uppal with a sharp-edged weapon, police claimed.
