Two- and three-wheeler major Bajaj Auto on Monday reported a minor fall in its total sales for December to 289,003 units.
The automobile manufacturer had sold 289,244 units during the corresponding month of 2014.
According to the company, its motorcycle sales during the month under review inched up by one percent at 247,782 units from 246,233 units sold in the like month of 2014.
However, the company's commercial vehicle sales dropped by four percent at 41,221 units from an off-take of 43,011 units in December 2014.
Exports during last month declined by 12 percent to 145,477 units from 166,134 units shipped out during the corresponding month of 2014.
