Two and three-wheeler major Bajaj Auto on Monday reported a nine percent drop in its total sales for October at 352,822 units, down from 386,017 in the corresponding month of 2014.
According to the company, its motorcycle sales during the month under review dipped by eight percent at 308,733 units from an off-take of 336,923 units in September 2014.
The company's commercial vehicle sales also dropped by 10 percent at 44,089 units from 49,094 units sold in the like month of 2014.
Exports during last month declined to 127,645 units compared to 158,547 units showing a decline of 19 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year.
